A Note on Burning Resin
Resin incense can occasionally “blob” or melt together while burning — especially if too much is added at once. This happens because natural resins contain oils that liquefy with heat before releasing their fragrance. To prevent this, use only a small pinch at a time and allow each portion to finish smoking before adding more. You can also add a thin layer of sand or ash on the charcoal to diffuse the heat for a slower, even burn.
