Return & Refund Policy

At Esoteric Aroma, each order is packed with care and intention. Because many of our products are aromatic, spiritual, or personal-use items, we maintain a clear return policy to ensure fairness for both our customers and our small business.

Please review the policy below before requesting a return.


Returns

Return requests must be submitted within 10 days of delivery.

To begin a return, please email:

Include:

Your Order Number (found on your invoice or packing slip)

The reason for the return

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
Once your request is reviewed, we will provide instructions for completing your return.


Return Conditions

If a return is requested for reasons not due to an error on the part of Esoteric Aroma (for example: you changed your mind, did not like the scent, or ordered the wrong item):

The customer is responsible for return shipping

A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund

Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition

Returns that arrive used, damaged, or incomplete may not qualify for a refund.


Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of certain products, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

Candles

Soap and body products

Amber perfumes

Tarot cards

These items are considered final sale once shipped.


Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will issue a refund for the product cost only.

Please note:

Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Refunds are issued to your original payment method (Visa, Mastercard, etc.). Once a refund is issued, please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your original payment method, depending on your bank or card provider.

Free Shipping Orders

Orders over $50 qualify for free domestic shipping.

If a return reduces the order total below the free shipping threshold, the actual shipping cost we paid will be deducted from your refund.


Store Credit

In some situations (such as out-of-stock items or shipping issues), store credit may be issued instead of a refund.

Store credit never expires and can be used on any future purchase at Esoteric Aroma.


Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be returned.

Sale items and discounted items are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged.


Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

A clear photo of the damaged item and packaging

Once the damage has been verified, we will issue a full refund for the item or send out a replacement — please let us know which option you prefer.

Because candles are fragile and costly to reship, we generally do not send replacement candles for items damaged in transit. Customers are welcome to place a new order if they would still like the item.

Refunds typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
