A Note on Burning Resin
Resin incense can occasionally “blob” or melt together while burning — especially if too much is added to the charcoal at once. This happens because natural resins contain oils that liquefy with heat before releasing their fragrance.
To prevent this, use only a small pinch at a time and allow each portion to finish smoking before adding more. If desired, place a bit of sand or ash on the charcoal first to soften the heat — this lets the resin smolder slowly and evenly, releasing its aroma without pooling.
Always use caution when burning resin. Never leave it unattended or near children or pets.
