Our Shaman Series Sweetgrass and Cedar incense sticks are a powerful combination of ceremonial plants. Cedar is used to cleanse and clear a space, while Sweetgrass is used to call in positive energies.
Sweetgrass represents positivity, strength, connection to the Creator and our ancestors. It represents the Mother, our Mother Earth. Sweetgrass is a beautiful aroma that is sweet (hence the name!), earthy and has a slight vanilla backnote.
Cedar has a long history of uses in temples, cleansing and purification rituals as well as sweat lodge ceremonies for indigenous peoples. The tree itself was thought to house important gods and was an entrance to higher spiritual realms.
